You are welcome to meet our Student Language Consultants at the Language Centre (Room RLG104) on an individual basis to discuss your English needs. Through 30-minute one-on-one consultation sessions, we are committed to helping you devise personalized strategies that are conducive to your English learning.

Consultation Policies
To ensure smooth scheduling and fair access to our English Consultation Service, please take note of the following policies:
 
🗓️ Weekly Registration System & Booking Guidelines
  • Consultations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Registration opens every Monday at 10:00 AM for consultations scheduled the following week (Monday to Friday).
  • Once the weekly quota is full, the registration form will be closed. It will reopen the next Monday at 10:00 AM for a new round of bookings.
  • Each student can book one session per week only.
📧 Confirmation & Follow-Up
  • Students who successfully register will receive a confirmation email within 3 days. 
  • If no confirmation email is received, the registration was unsuccessful. Students are welcome to register again in the next round.
❌ Cancellation & Service Scope
  • If you cannot attend your consultation, please reply to the confirmation email from languagecentre@hksyu.edu at least 2 days in advance of your appointment.
  • Proofreading and assignment-specific consultations are not available.
  • For assignment-related questions, please contact your course instructors.
📌 Reminder
  • Please note that consultations do not count towards the English workshop requirement for Mainland students as established by the Registry.
